In recent months, we carefully packed the home of David and Paula Ben-Gurion in Tel Aviv in preparation for a historic renovation. Like any house being packed, it revealed unexpected treasures- rare objects and personal items that offer a unique glimpse into the life of the country’s founder.
Among the discoveries are previously unseen belongings that shed new light on Ben-Gurion’s private world: what occupied his days, what he read and what shaped his thinking.
We invite you to step behind the scenes and encounter these remarkable finds at Beit Hillel, next to David Ben-Gurion House (entrance from 18 Lassalle st).
