In this workshop we will examine what makes someone take responsibility for their environment and try to change the face of the society in which they live. Whether it is teen Ben-Gurion in his hometown establishing the Ezra association for learning Hebrew, or adult Ben-Gurion working towards establishing a a Jewish state in the land of Israel. A look on the man’s leadership, its components and attributes, will teach us about taking responsibility out of a desire to bring about change with significant impact, in a reality that doesn’t always enable us to dream big, because of aspects of our lives that are not up to us.
